So Julie and Kathleen should not only bring back the image to the podcast, but also add smell to the mix. So we can smell if they are queer enough for the podcast.

You could name the lesbian project podcast signature perfume High lessuer or Dau not assumé

Julie & Kathleen are such celebrities, they should just call it 'Julie' and 'Kathleen'. One for daytime and the other one for parties, or one for the high fem lesbian and the other one for the butch type.

Are we getting a Christmas Panto? 😄

Great episode. Another graduate of an Access Course here (and also left school without doing exams). This is where I first studied drama/literature. I think we did The Crucible, Hamlet, Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit, Wuthering Heights and The Handmaid's Tale. Big-up for Access courses.

You should definitely do a Xmas panto. Kathleen would make a good Principal Boy. I see Julie more as the dame - show stealer of course and high fem 😉

Surely the scent should be called Saphic Traffic?!

It is great to hear your tribute to Ann McManus. I read the Guardian article a few days ago. The stories of prominent lesbian women, past and present, are so important.

BTW In middle age I used to use one of the Dior range. Gave it up when someone said she didn't Ike it. 🤔

I don’t mind the audio-only format. This week you two seem more at ease with each other, and that’s always more entertaining.

Like when Julie composes extemporaneous straight erotica, and Kathleen says “Alright, no one wants to hear that.”

By the way, if anyone wants an invite to Vexxed, the successor to Ovarit, they will soon have a dedicated Lesbian circle (message board). DM me.

You know what all this is leading towards: a piss-take of '90's black and white perfume ads, starring J&K - THERE'S your Xmas Special. ...Oh wait, I think Smack The Pony already did it with L'odeur....

The name for your podcast signature perfume?

That would have to be Folie à Deux

Once asked what she wore to bed, Marilyn Monroe replied "Chanel No 5"

It's on YouTube ;-)

Can't beat Old Spice...Aramis is good too.

My Mum used to wear Tweed, very inexpensive cologne. I don’t know if it is still being made, but I found a bottle in her bedroom after she died. The smell was so evocative of those evening when she dressed up to go out with my Dad and kissed me goodbye. Tears now!

The smell I loathe, having been a young adult in the 60s, is patchouli. At women-only events, before the chemical sensitivity nonsense, you could almost levitate across the room on a cloud of patchouli worn by women in tie-dye who called themselves Glendaborn after their Mums.

I love to wear CHANEL BLEU and ALLURE men’s perfume.

I quite liked Angel… but preferred Alien!

And also I very much like the audio only.
