A year or so ago we set up a small not-for-profit organisation called The Lesbian Project. It is focused upon getting better evidence and research about lesbian lives, lobbying for lesbian interests with policy-makers, and helping rebuild lesbian community. Though we are still very small, so far we have:

• organised a very successful, sold-out public event in London talking about lesbian lives;

• met behind-the-scenes with several key politicians and policy-makers to discuss how the interests of lesbians are being neglected in the modern LGBTQ+ landscape;

• given interviews about lesbian interests to major UK media outlets, including the Telegraph, BBC Womans Hour, and the Andrew Marr show.

• written opinion pieces about lesbian life for newspapers and magazines, including the Spectator, the Observer, and UnHerd.

• produced a major report about lesbian erasure in the UK.

All proceeds from our podcast go to our organisation: without your subscriptions, we could not do what we do, and we are very grateful.

We know our podcast is light-hearted and irreverent but we are deadly serious about building a better world for lesbians. We thank all of you that can afford to help us do this important work.
